Oakley developed hunting skills as a child to provide for her impoverished family in western Ohio. If you struggle with mana try to not miss any q's on last hitting and don't spam w unless you have to shove the wave.īut it is mostly preference - I'd just wouldn't build horizon focus to make room for defensives and situationals.Annie Oakley (born Phoebe Ann Moses Aug– November 3, 1926) was an American sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West show. Due to the only benefit of building it over horizon focus being the mana early game (and you won't have mana issues unless you go a non-lost chapter mythic - which gives you less damage due to building a non mana mythic anyway) I usually just recommend not building it as it isn't worth it in the long run. Annie normally always wants one defensive item due to her "run in and die" play style - unless you are running Liandry's. The issue is that horizon focus actually offers more damnage overall in a burst - naturally both together make for insane damage - but then you have to give up an item slot. Seraphs is nice to go second - it gives mana early due to tear and a lot of damage - it also scales well. It offers a better engage late game (especially important for identification of your role in the team e.g the engage).Īfter testing I believe that Annie spikes very hard off of two items. It offers the same early game damage with the active whilst giving up mana to spam shove waves. Annie has a weakness to spell shields, as well as having a lack of mobility. Rocketbelt covers weaknesses that Luden's doesn't - or atleast not as easily. All of this can be played around due to Annie's simple nature as a champion - which is what makes her such a reliable pick in solo queue. Annie relies on Zhonya's Hourglass a lot as it allows Annie to survive after engaging and delivering her damage. ![]() Due to this, she very often has to give up early lane priority if the other player knows what they are doing. But most importantly - she is incredibly fun.Īnnie struggles with waveclear. She is a very good low elo pick due to her potential to pick off carries as well as her AOE stun with Summon: Tibbers and can work in high elo if played well. She has many builds she can use that benefit the team composition she is in and therefore is a good one trick champion. She scales decently into the late game but is strongest in the mid game. ![]() Annie's Positives → Easy champion to pick up.Īnnie is a burst mage. ![]()
